EZAI is a company born out of the collaboration of a truly interdisciplinary team. Williamson ”Johnny” Brigido, Pam Groen, and Nini Hu are professionals in biotech, data science, and fashion when they met in Harvard Business Analytics Program, an executive education program for industry leaders to explore new ways to analyze and interpret data.  While working with Pam and Nini on their projects, Brigido recognizes the opportunity to “democratize” the power of artificial intelligence to everyone across a diverse industry. Trust, inclusivity, and diversity are at the core of EZAI, unlocking the access of a great tool to everyone.

The Data Scientist

Williamson "Johnny" Brigido

Williamson Brigido is a Brazilian PhD student in electronics and computer engineering at the Instituto de Tecnologia Aeronautica, which is the most reputable engineering university in Brazil.  Brigido is also currently enrolled in MIT and an alumni of the Harvard Business Analytics Program.  Williamson also has multiple MBA degrees in project management, banking and finance, and big data and analytics.“Johnny”, Williamson’s nickname, has over 15 years of experience in data engineering, data science, and financial risk.  Johnny has been invited to be technical reviewers for prestigious Machine Learning conferences, such as the IEEE International Conference on ML and Applications.  Williamson has published several articles within the high profile AI community such as the Iberian Conference on Information Systems and Technologies.

Johnny lives with Desiree, his loving wife and two beautiful children in Brasilia, Brazil.

The Bio Scientist

Pamela Groen

Pamela Groen, M.D., Ph.D., Molecular Pathologist, is the Associate Director of Molecular Pathology Core Laboratory (MPCL) of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, an authority on advancing molecular pathology-based cancer research.

With over 25 years in clinical and translational medicine, Pamela authored 36 bio-engineering research publications, 12 of which made the cover of their respective publications. Additionally, she built an international biology tissue repository, the only psychotropic collection in the world.

Pamela also has worked to secure medical patens for pediatric care, which have drastically reduced global death rates and become the standard of care for people who receive transplants.

Pam now lives in Boston and has founded Business of Science and The BioFin Score.

The DESIGNER

Nini Hu

Nini Hu is a designer, marketing, and art director.  Nini has worked with many well known international brands like Calvin Klein and Kate Spade.  For 10 years, Nini led the design teams for Calvin Klein and created many iconic products and campaigns for CK North America.

Nini is also an alum of Harvard Business Analytics Program, where she met Johnny Williamson and was inspired to launch &HER. &HER deploys a smart manufacturing process to build customizable and sustainable bras, utilizing measurements calculated by EZAI and Machine Vision. 

Nini lives in Brooklyn, NY and started a local mini smart-manufacturing studio to make garments in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
